Transactions for around $ 100 million and the participation of more than 100 exhibitors are expected to be achieved during the first Virtual Acobir Expo 2021, to be held from March 15 to 21 of this year, reported the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Promoters (Acobir) , the event organizers.
The real estate fair has been held for more than a decade, but this year due to the impositions issued by the Ministry of Health as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, it has had to adapt to the virtual modality.
The president of Acobir, Frank Morrice Arias, stated that “the experience that we have developed over more than ten years positions us as the main real estate showcase in the country, and a benchmark for the Panamanian real estate sector, which allows integration and approach to new clients, the development of alliances and expansion for the market. Despite the current scenario, we are optimistic that the market will react favorably. “
“The results show the social and economic attributes of our sector, and show the great effort of the binding actors, launching a public policy of reactivation, where the incentives generated through the Preferential Interest Law are essential to make investment in new housing is a great instrument to strengthen development, ”said Morrice.
For her part, Maya García, coordinator of the Expo Virtual Acobir 2021, highlighted that “the present fair version, despite having a different panorama in front of us, responds strategically thanks to technology, innovation and virtuality. Therefore, we do not doubt that this will have a positive impact on the promotion and sales of housing units, keeping the economic gear of the country moving, and reiterating with activities like this, the commitment to fulfill the dream of many Panamanian families of having their own home ”.

At the Acobir Virtual Expo 2021 they will be able to find residential projects for all strata and budgets, with options applying to the solidarity housing bond, the benefit of the preferential interest law for new families who wish to choose to purchase their first home and properties with a value of more than 180,000.

The Acobir Virtual Expo 2021 will open on March 15 at 9:00 a.m. and it will run until March 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
