The Panama Metro reported that it has begun the construction of the first station of Line 3, which will link Panama with Panama Oeste, located in Ciudad del Futuro, in the district of Arraiján.
It will become one of the three base stations and it will have two entrances, a modal interchange and parking lots.
The lobby will be at surface level, while the platform will be elevated and will be located at the entrance of the community known with the same name, on a piece of land on the north bank, in the direction of La Chorrera.
According to Panama Metro, the construction phase began with the movement of the earth, once the preliminary works of liberation of the area were concluded, surveys to determine the capacity of the soil to support the loads of the piles, removal of the vegetation and the rescue of flora and fauna.
