Tocumen International Airport processed 1,624,774 passengers last June, an increase of 183,408 compared to the same month last year.
This year, 9,382,002 passengers have moved between both terminals.
According to data from the Statistics Department of Tocumen International Airport, the regions with the greatest passenger movement in June were: South America (45%), North America (29%), and the Caribbean (12%).
Central America accounted for 10%, while European markets contributed 4%.
Destinations and Markets
In June, Tocumen maintained direct routes to 90 destinations through 16 commercial airlines serving major cities in the Americas and Europe.
Of the total passengers in June, 72% were connecting travelers. Additionally, 12,768 aircraft movements were recorded.
Regional Terminals and Cargo
The cargo terminal handled 17,731 metric tons of merchandise in June 2024.
Regional terminals managed by Tocumen, S.A., including Panama Pacífico, Enrique Malek, Scarlett Martínez, and Enrique A. Jiménez, recorded traffic of 56,214 passengers and 1,580 aircraft operations in June.
Among the regional terminals, Panama Pacífico had the highest movement with 34,008 passengers processed, while the domestic terminal at Terminal 2 processed 16,366 passengers.
