Be the owner of more than 100 hectares in Santa Fe, Veraguas. To date 47.3 hectares have been reforested and there were already 20 plus hectares of pine forest on the property. This makes a total of approximately 70 plus hectares of trees on the property. Some of the trees are a lot bigger than others.
Another important fact is the entire property is fenced to prevent damage to the trees from neighboring cattle and horses. Several years ago over 900-fence post were replaced and tightened around the entire property.
There is an abundance of water as 6 rivers cross the property. There are several spring boxes on the mountain that provide lots of water.
Lastly, another important factor is the elevation, which is approximately 2,200 feet where the microclimate weather is much cooler than the lowlands.
